How much notice to give when resigning as management?

When you resign from a management position, it is important to give your employer the appropriate amount of notice. This article will tell you how much notice to give and what to do when resigning.

Ideally, two months' notice is given when resigning as management. This allows the company time to find a replacement and for you to tie up any loose ends. Holding a management role, you stay in a key job position and it will be challenging for HR to replace your years of experience, familiarity and reassign duties. Give them some time before you job hop.

However, depending on the situation, giving more or less notice may be appropriate.
