How to answer what is your current notice period in an interview?

Here is a suggested response when the interviewer asks about your notice period you have with your current job.

When interviewers ask about your current notice period, they are looking to gauge how much time it would take for you to start working if they were to offer you the job. The best way to answer this question when applying for a job is by being honest and giving a range that you are comfortable with, such as two weeks to one month. Be prepared to start work after that period.

If you are currently employed, try to give at least 2 weeks notice. If you are unemployed, be prepared to start work as soon as possible.
