Why are most job interviews scheduled in the morning?

If you're looking for a job, you may notice that most interviews are scheduled in the morning. We explore the reasons behind this common practice.

There are a few reasons why morning interviews are commonplace, and can be considered a norm.

  1. One is that it allows the interviewer to get the meeting out of the way so they can focus on their work for the rest of the day.
  2. Additionally, morning hours tend to be less hectic and allow for more uninterrupted time than later in the day.
  3. Finally, research has shown that people are generally more alert and at their best earlier in the day, making morning interviews ideal for getting an accurate assessment of a candidate.
